Mission Statement
Under the protection of Jesus and the Blessed Mother St. Mary's Catholic School provides a Christ-centered environment embracing gospel values. Recognizing parents as the primary educators of their children family involvement in the education of their children is expected. Parents, faculty staff and participating church communities work in partnership to develop growth in faith, academic excellence and service to the community.
School Philosophy
St. Mary's is founded on the belief that Jesus, as Lord, is the center of our existence. Our main focus is to help the child build a strong relationship with God through daily prayer, development of an understanding and love for the sacraments and participation in the liturgical life of the Church. We regard each child as a contributor to society, and therefore strive to prepare the child for this responsibility by teaching strong values and morality based on the gospel.
Purpose
We are dedicated to Catholic faith formation of every child through a strong religious program. We are also committed to preparing each child to meet the challenges of an ever-changing society through a consistently excellent curriculum. Academic excellence and religious instruction is achieved through small class size and close home/school communication, with high expectations for all. Cooperation and understanding between home and school is crucial to the success of each child.
