Academics
Rigorous academic excellence and religious instruction is achieved through small class sizes, open communication and high expectations. Cooperation and understanding between home and school is crucial to the success of each child.
As part of the Archdiocese of Denver Catholic Schools we administer the ITBS (Iowa Test of Basic Skills). The ITBS provides a comprehensive assessment of student progress in major content areas.
In addition to the ITBS, we also give the ACRE test. The ACRE test is a test that is given to students in grades 5 and 8. The purpose of the test is to see how students understand their Catholic faith and what they do to live them in their everyday life. The test is divided into content and attitudinal values. This format indicates to all that the teaching of religion to young people is a team process with school and home.
